The Unity Macroverse is managed by the Unity Macroverse Core Development Team, led by Andaman Consortium Sdn Bhd, a business registered in Malaysia. Andaman Consortium had created the Unity Macroverse as an offshoot from the E.S.A ("English Speaking Asians") Community Engagement Platform, which was developed to showcase locally-developed products and services, especially from the microbusiness/freelancers sphere.
