The UNEs Tigris is an advanced experimental tactical and science vessel of the UNE. It has been retrofitted with various experimental new technology components including advanced shielding, an A.I. navigation system, and next-generation thrusters.

The Tigris is helmed by Captain Olivia Chu
It first appeared in Marooned, and is subsequently featured in Journey's End story branch which focuses on the vessel and its crew throughout the First Contact story arc. In Journey's End, the Tigris had encountered an ITMC MEKO Raider which launched an attack and damaged the Tigris badly, as the Raider's utilized technology that was foreign and superior to that of the Tigris.
